uVme - Fruit Frenzy If you like matching games, Fruit Frenzy from uVme is a terrific place to test your skills. The game is very challenging and you'll be required to move certain pieces from the board before you can move on to the next level. This sounds easy, but add in a timer and you've got the recipe for fun. In order to move the ice cubes off of the board, you'll need to match up at least three pieces of fruit in a row. They can be matched in rows or in columns. You'll have to move the fruit strategically to get rid of as many ice cubes as you can. While you are doing this, the timer keeps ticking and it gets harder and harder to find your matches. One of the best parts about playing this game is that uVme allows you to challenge someone else. You'll be playing against another player to see who can finish with the highest score. If you like, you can play a free challenge against someone or have uVme assign you a partner. After that, you can challenge them to a rematch and place a small wager to see who will win. There are not many sites that allow you to do this, making uVme one of the more unique gaming sites on the internet. Pogo and MSN offer similar games but they have some definite downsides. Pogo forces you to sit through ads before a game loads. They also don't allow the same kind of challenges, making it less fun to play. MSN requires the use of Internet Explorer, which may not be suitable for those who have embraced Firefox. Mac users will be particularly disappointed since Safari is not supported either. uVme solves this problem by only using Flash games. These games can be played in any browser that has a flash plugin. The Flash player is free and it is easy to update it if you don't have the latest version. By offering cross-platform compatibility, UVMe easily stands out at the front of the gaming sites. By combining great games, the ability to challenge other players and the freedom of using the browser of your choice, uVme has really built a great site that should appeal to numerous gamers.
